This property was given a substantial refresh while keeping the original retro character the property manager wanted to preserve.

The kitchen was completely stripped out and renovated, with the old finishes removed and the space rebuilt and finished from the ground up. Tiling, repairs, preparation and painting were all completed as part of the works, with the new kitchen brought together as a clean, functional space without feeling out of place in the older property.

The bathroom and separate toilet were approached differently. Rather than replacing the original peach fixtures and losing the vintage look, the existing peach bathtub, basin and toilet were carefully cleaned, repaired and revitalised so they could remain part of the finished property. The aim was to keep the original colour and retro feel while bringing the surrounding finishes back up around them.

Plaster and damaged surfaces throughout the property were repaired and prepared before painting, with the different areas then brought together as one coordinated refresh.

The finished result kept the character the property manager was after — particularly the original peach bathroom suite — while giving the kitchen and surrounding areas the level of repair and finish needed to make the property feel properly renewed.

Broadhurst needed work across most of the property, so the job was handled as one coordinated refresh rather than a series of separate repairs.

In the bathroom, the tiling was renewed, including the bath apron, and a new vanity and mirror were installed. Elsewhere throughout the property, damaged plaster was repaired, filled and sanded before painting. The architraves were also filled and properly prepared before being repainted so old gaps and defects didn’t show through the finished work.

Once the walls and trim were finished, the old flooring was replaced with new carpet and vinyl to complete the refresh.

By the end of the job, the bathroom, walls, trim and flooring had all been brought back up together, leaving the property ready for its next use rather than looking like individual repairs had been completed at different times.

This two-bedroom apartment had some serious water damage. Damaged carpet was removed and replaced, plaster repairs were completed, gaps were filled, and the apartment received a full repaint to bring this one back to life.

The silicone inside the shower had moulded and cracked, leaving large gaps between the tiles and creating a real risk of water ingress and future damage. The old silicone was removed from the wet area, the joints were cleaned, then recaulked with colour-matched silicone for a neat, watertight finish.

This large two-bedder featured a large kitchen/lounge area with ensuite rooms. It was in bad shape when we received the order, with large gashes in the doors from pets. All affected surfaces, including walls, doors and architraves, were patched and painted. Same-day turnaround.

This tenant's gate hinges had rusted out and snapped, leaving her garage and backyard exposed. The old hinges were removed and new ones installed, followed by an adjustment to the gate to make sure it locked properly and opened fully.
